Tree of Life

This is a mural I created for my old 911 center, Valley Communications Center in Kent, WA where I used to work.  With each successful CPR call (survival onscene via instructions through 911), a leaf will be put on the tree.  And with each baby born through careful direction from 911, a bloom will be put on the tree.  I cut out shapes of leaves and blooms on adhesive-backed felt and left it with the com center.  Each leaf and bloom will have the name of the employee who took the call and the date it happened.  It will be so beautiful to watch the tree grow, and as recognition for each devoted employee who directed that call.

Leaves and blooms are added to the Tree of Life mural via data from 2018 to present.  They represent successful CPR calls and babies being born onscene.  The tree will continue to grow and thrive in 2020 and beyond.

Crow & Nettle Apothecary Soap Labels, 2020
I created 2 size soap labels for my friend Roseann, using Adobe Illustrator.  The original logo on the front is taken from a linoleum block print I did.  Please click on this photo to see a mini music video I created for the Crow & Nettle sites online.  I spied a mistake in one size of the labels through this video and am reprinting updated labels.
